I have a some customers that placed an order, but status is not paid

I have a some customers that placed an order, but status is not paid. I checked my account & I have my Paypal email address correct, but i have buyers that placed an order & gave all of their shipping information & email info, but the status of the order is not paid, so i can't complete the order & ship it to them . How do i know if i  have my account setup wrong that customers can't pay for the item, or i don't know why the status of the orders are not paid. how do i fix the problem

If you got an order, but the status shows as "Not Paid", I'd suggest that you check your PayPal account and see if you got the payment for that order there. It's possible that PayPal didn't pass the payment status back to our system. You can also follow up with the customer and ask for the payment. You can find customer's email as part of the order details information.

Sorry for the delay!

Basically, if your email is correct and that's the email that you used to register your PayPal account with, then there is nothing else you can do. PayPal sometimes fails to pass info to our site about payment status. So the best bet is to check your bank and your PayPal account. If you got the money for your order through PayPal that's all that matters.

You can add a note to yourself on the Order Details page to say that it is PAID, even though the status says otherwise. This note will be visible only to you.  

And as far as I know, it doesn't matter what type of PayPal account that you have.
