There is a problem on my site/ emergency

This was the second time I was directly contacted by a potential buyer about not being able to complete a sale at the checkout. I am wondering how many sales I might have missed. This last caller explained that when she went to pay she received an error message that there was something wrong with the site. My very first sale that never went through from nonpayment might have been the same problem. I do not know where the problem lies but it has to be fixed. The problem has been reported by people entering from Facebook and the icraft site. Please help!
