How does my personal email work for payment information but not my paypal?

Hi, I'm new to all of this and I'm having a tough time figuring out how to navigate the system, I'm not sure if I have my payment method correct, seems like PayPal should be part of the email for it to work, I copied link PayPal gave me and pasted it in but it was denied by icraft gifts, idk, at this point I'm so flustered, excuse me please, this is all brand new to me. Im learning as I go.
