Help Me! NEW TO CRAFTING

Hi everyone! I am new to the craft world and I work with crystals and great coasters, and home decor.

I am looking to elevate my work and instead of gold painting the edges I’d like to seal the edges in metal.
HOW DO I DO THIS?! I remember doing it high school?? But I can’t seem to find anything online to help. I will attach photos for reference but please reach out if you know what I’m talking about.

Sorry, I have NO idea what you mean by sealing edges with metal. I only WISH my high-school had programming that sounds as cool as that!
