The seven essential behaviors of highly creative people
The ancient Greeks believed that creativity was a divine attendant spirit that came to human beings from some distant and unknowable source, for distant and unknowable reasons. 

Centuries later, not much has changed. The only difference is that we no longer attribute creativity to divine spirits, but to special individuals. We think that it’s only Beethoven, Picasso and Mozart who have creative genius.

Except that’s not true.

Yes, good read. I always thought of rereplacementing and recombining ideas or using them in different applications as "inspiration". But sometimes it definitely felt like "stealing". Good to know that's normal! (It's especially prolific in music where we call it "sampling" instead of "stealing".)
