Tips for posting on social media

Thought this might be useful to some - The Best Time to Post on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn

A few recommendations for Twitter:
1. Tweet at right the time - 3 p.m. Monday to Friday (see article above for other social media platforms)
2. Tweet with high engagement content (free & useful resources, sales announcements, tutorials/master classes etc).  
3. Mention other users in tweets whenever possible
4. Use hashtags
5. Shorten links using URL shorteners, like Bitly
6. Use UTM tags on links for tracking traffic (if you know how to use them)

A few recommendations for Facebook:
1. Post at the right time – middle of the day mostly
2. Post with high engagement content (see above, same as on Twitter)
3. Encourage readers to interact with your content to get more likes, shares & comments - ask questions/opinions/
4. Make live videos or any videos if possible - video content attracts more views
5. Use UTM tags on links for tracking traffic
