How long does it take to get a blog post approved?

Generally speaking, blogging is all about timeliness so I'm a bit concerned that after 24 hours, my blog post hasn't yet been reviewed or approved.

Sorry for the delays in approving things, Cardamama!  
We usually approve blog posts the same day and only do that for new and infrequent posters... to make sure our blogging guidelines are met etc. If you become a regular blogger, your post will be automatically approved. We also have a feature that allows you to schedule your posts, so then you are sure it will appear on the site at the time you want it to appear.
