Hi everybody!
I'm a woodworker since over 25 years but a "green" here. Smiley
I'm french and I live in a lovely small town across the Saint-Laurence river in Quebec (Canada). It's possible my description on my store wasn't good. Feel free to help me to accurate my english skill.
For now I have only 3 items but I will upgrade my store in the next few days (may be few weeks). I sold also in Etsy, Custommade and Designeros. I'm in most social medias like facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, G+, Houzz, Playwho, Fancy and Heart it... If you follow me (or ad me in your contact), it will be a pleasure to follow you back. Try Atelier Unik-Art, atelierunikart or Sebastien Toussaint  in replacement engine of these different media and you should find me. Wink

Happy to become part of iCraftGifts.com

Sebastien

Bonjour Sebastien!  Pourquois vous n'ecrivez pas votre produits en francais aussi?

I know there should be accents on those letters, but I am not French and I do not know how to make the keyboard do that in these forums!  But, I do feel it's a valid question.  You have the luxury of appealing to persons of more than one language  - why not include both English and French descriptions?

While it is not perfect, there are only minor language issues with your shop description.  Here is how I would change it (just one person's opinion):

First, there is a place in the shop profile to put an "announcement".  If you do not have an announcement (like a sale or a new product launch or a craft fair appearance), I would put a catch phrase of some kind in there.  What I think would be good for you is:

"Wooden goods from sustainable practices."

I think it's good to highlight the sustainability because there is a large market for that kind of thing.
Here are some small fixes to your shop description:
-------------------------------------
Woodworking, custom wooden boxes, cheese boards, wooden toys, cutting boards, kitchen tools

I have over 25 years experience in the field of woodworking and my workshop, Atelier Unik-Art, designs and manufactures various wood products with materials derived from sustainable development and environmentally friendly practices.

My products include: wooden toys, wooden boxes, corporate gifts, custom small furniture design and other decorative objects. I can also laser engrave on site for your customization.

Materials mainly used:
Woods salvaged from other local industries, torrefied wood, reclaimed wood, local woods (from the ''Bas Saint-Laurent, Qc, Canada'' area): aspen, maple, cherry, easter cedar, gray pine. Others species are also available on request: Black walnut, cherry wood, oak, etc.
-------------------------------------

I put the products closer to the top, before the materials.
You had "corporated gifts" in there.  I'm not sure what you meant.  I assumed gifts for businesses?  So, I changed it to corporate gifts.  Please let me know if that is not what you meant.

I love the laser engraved coasters!  They are rustic and elegant at the same time!

Hi  atelierunikart / Sebastien, welcome to icraft!

Your store looks great, and I'm glad to see you have already implemented Fairy Cardmaker's suggestions.  Smiley

My tip is to also include how to wash or clean your products. Damp cloth? Soap? No Soap?  I know myself to not put wooden items in the dishwasher, but some people may not know that.

Good luck
Bibi
