Hello, I have had my cards listed for a couple of months, there has been quiet a few that have viewed them, but so far no purchase.  I just lowered the price of my cards by $2.00.  Not sure if this will help or not, especially since it's getting close to Christmas.  Thanks.

Hi Admin,

I have a question that I don't know where to ask. Am I asking too much for my products?  I have lots of views but no comments or buys. Just curious.

Thanks so much,

Cindy

Hi Cindy,
I moved your question to this thread, as it didn't have anything to do with the Treasure Hunt, and because you and Sunshine Creations both asked similar question today about possibly high prices causing you sales.

The thing is we can't tell you if your prices are too high or not (we don't know your products well enough and we are not your potential customers). There may be a number of reasons affecting your sales (like this Blue and Purple Bead Bracelet is limited to US Customers only. Why not offer it to international customers?).

However, if you have a suspicion than your prices are too high, here is what I'd do:
  • I'd rereplacement similar products and see at what prices others are selling them.
  • I'd also talk to people you know, especially those that fall into your "Potential customers" category and ask them for an honest opinion if your prices are too high. Would they buy at those prices?
  • Do a few tests, where you lower your prices for some time, promote page through social media or paid ads just to see if price alone can make a difference.
  • Start offering discounts and special offers, especially during holidays, to convert visitors into customers with those great deals.

Sunshine Creations,
I'd suggest for you too not to lower your prices blindly.
It's better to place some items on sale (marketing technique called "price anchoring") than to lower prices of all products (cheaper products often viewed as lower quality products). Here is one article I quickly found for you online - Anchor Pricing Strategies. Hope that helps.
