Cannot Delete Shipping

Folks I know you replied to my previous post, but I simply can't delete the Canadian Shipping option.  If I go into Shipping Profile and hit delete it says it can't be deleted because it has associated products.  I'm sorry to ask this, but I need admin. to walk me through this.  Clearly I can't click on delete and remove it.

You cannot delete the profile itself.  You must delete its option from EACH LISTING.

Go to "My account"
Go to "View all Products"
Pick one to edit.
In that particular listing's info page, scroll down to the shipping section.
Find the one that allows shipping to Canada.  (So, for example, I have 3 profiles: Shipping Canada, Shipping USA and Shipping Everywhere Else.  In my case, I would take off the "Shipping Canada" option from my listing and leave only the other two.)
Using the dropdown, reset the one you don't want anymore to "Choose Shipping Profile".

Repeat for every single listing you have.

My understanding from the other threads' responses is that you cannot do it globally for your shop.  You can only do it individually for every single product in your shop.

When you finish editing every listing you have, you will have no products using that shipping profile.  Then, and only then, can you delete the actual profile.

I can't do it individually.  Each time I try it tells me there are products attached to that shipping and it won't allow me to delete the shipping.  Believe me, I've tried this six ways to Sunday.  My concern is, because I'm getting that message that I may have to completely remove the whole listing and start over again, and I'm not prepared to do that for 26 listings.

Try it with one of your listings and you should get the same message.

You don't have to remove your product listings, in order to remove the shipping profile.

Thank you so much.  I feel like such a dumb bunny now being able to figure this out.  If you get a chance would you walk me through this just so I'll know.  I truly can't find a way to do this.

Hrm... I dunno then.  Sorry!  I tried it with my listing and it worked.

I took off the "shipping everywhere else" profile I had on this item.  It saved and it put my item to the top of my shop as "updated" and everything.

I guess yours is bugged?  Glad Admin is willing to help you though!
