How does one put alt tags on pics?
Should we upload all our pics on the web through say... Googles Picassa?

No, we do it for you. Right now we do that for all product images.

Since we review all blog posts, we manually add proper alt tags to images, whenever we see that they are missing in the original post. However, you can add alt tags yourself, when you change image properties like URL, size, alignment etc. Alt tag field is mentioned on that same screen. Thanks!

Just wanted to mention that you can add alt tags not only to images on blog posts, but to product images as well. All you need to do is to add descriptive captions for all products images, that you upload. In absence of captions, we use your product title to create alt tags. Though it's much better if you had a unique alt tag on every product image.
