decided to add "handmade" to all my headings. Now I have eight words for all of them. Haven't had my coffee yet, and my doggie was chasing a rat around the house all night. I'm tired - hope this makes sense  And hoping you got your electricity back steady. It's COLD this morning - cold front came through.... {:-Deb
After reading Christine's interview: Just an aside: Very important to have a nice portrait ready too. I was replacementing around and making a real pest of myself on the computer last night, looking for a portrait!

Here it is. I was so excited about it last night I almost started jumping up and down on the bed... which would not have been a good thing as dear husband was sleeping Yes always have pictures ready of you with your work. Interesting pictures. As that is what bloggers are always looking for. Portrait good too. Cheers Christine Pretty please can you go over to the link and leave a comment. http://thedecoratingdiva.com/christine-skaley-of-pillow-throw-decor/comment-page-1/#comment-1669

I just read your interview, Christine! Very good - you came across as being professional, yet personable. It made me want to see more of your work! You are right, having photos of one actually doing one's craft is important. Even though I dislike intensely having my photo taken, I usually get someone to take one of me at a workshop or show, and then put it on my website, blog and in newsletters, brochures, etc. It is difficult to find the time to improve marketing skills during what is for most of us, the busiest time of the year. It's also the time when good marketing is most important! We just need more hours in the day, or to be able to work at warp speed! Julie

I have a question.
My tagline for Wabi Brook Studio is "Fine Art and Artisan Jewellery...inspired by nature."
Since "hand made" is a replacement term I think I need to include, would having something like "Fine Art and Artisan Jewellery...inspired by nature, made by hand" work?
Would the replacement engines pick up the words "made" and "hand", or would it have to be "handmade" or a version of that?
This is the part of seo that I'm not sure I understand.

I like your first version of your tagline rather than adding more to it....art and artisan say handmade by themselves but it is a good question for SEO purposes. Admin will have an answer for us on this. Cheers Christine PS thanks for kind words on interview I have a question.

Page optimization is more complex than simply adding keywords, that we think are good, to a page. Yes, replacement engines will see all the keywords, but they are just words to a machine. First you need to do a Keyword Analyses and choose those keywords (one or two) that you want to optimize your page for, then you place them strategically throughout your copy. I'll be adding more on this topic later today. So stay tuned!

I will be watching for it!
This is so embarrassing  ... I admit this is so far over my head.... my brain doesn't have enough information yet so computes nothing :?
Is there any way you could post a before and after of someone's listing with the explanatory notes?
Thank you thank you!
Cheers
Christine
