I have been involved in all forms of woodworking for over forty years. I have a Baccalaureate in Fine Art and Design with honors. Having graduated from South Hampton Univ. on Long Island, New York. BFA . I have also studied at The American Institute of Fine Art on 5th Ave in New York City. Plus attending a year at the San Francisco Art Institute in California doing some advanced studies.
I make use of and design with recycled materials whenever possible. The wood I use comes from pallets, old fallen timber, cast offs from construction sites and cabinet shops. The metals come from old cans, used roof flashings, metal pie tins and old metal framing studs. So basically everything and anything.
Reuse, Recycle, Renew, Repurpose, Re-imagine!
With the fish decoys each one seems to achieve its own personality during the creating process. They are a pleasure to make and to behold. The decoys vary in size from one inches up to twelve inches long or longer due to our use of recycled materials. I will make custom sizes, just contact us for information. I will soon have other items on the iCraft site. You can be sure each will be a creation of craftsmanship and imagination.
One of the creative avenues I am taking is to create copies of everyday items, such as Post Office mailboxes, Old style gasoline pumps and fire hydrants and turn them into functional pieces of art for your home, such as storage cabinets. We also create fantastic adult sized rocking dragons. They are as comfortable to ride on as they are wonderful to behold. As I have said..Re-imagination is spoken here.
