Handmade Store: Doris Laughter

Former art teacher, retired and living the good life has participated in outdoor shows, co-op galleries, and indoor displays. After having several operations in two years, recuperated by scrap booking and making greeting cards and jewelry which are sold in local stores. Asked by customers to exhibit work on the web, hence this display.
The paintings range from non-objective abstracts to impressionistic realism. The cards are mostly vintage collage creations incorporating a wide range of techniques. The jewelry is now beading with an expansion to silver formed items.
Teaching classes in drawing and painting, I am inspired by the enthusiasm of my students and am constantly experimenting with new methods and approaches in my own work. There is not enough time in the day to accomplish everything I aspire to do.
