Handmade Store: Backwood Creations

Backwoods Creations made with reclaimed wood harvested in the Rio Grande valley, and taken from old fences, barns, corrals, and anywhere else I can find wood that still has some life to give. Some would agree the material offers more beauty and character then when originally harvested and put into use. Though you stand a greater chance of getting a splinter, the up side is if you scratch or chip a product you just added more character. I use a wire brush to clean the pieces before taking their pictures believe it or not.
