Handmade Store: ERAJewelries

When I was a little girl of 6 my mother use to give me her worn out or partially broken jewelry. I had a cigar box that I kept all my treasures in. To me this box of old jewelry was like a chest full of gold.

After my mother-in-law passed away I was bequeathed with her jewelry box. I had seen it on her dresser many times when we visited. Most of the pieces left in it were costume jewelry. Although I had been experimenting with making my own bracelets and necklaces for a while, this catapulted my creativity to light speed. What would I do with the jewelry and how to save it somehow?

I started designing new pieces with the vintage components as the focus of the jewelry items or at least a part of it. So now what to call my new adventure to share with others. Well the pieces of jewelry are from another era and my mother-in-law’s first name was Era. So Era Jewelries was born!

All my pieces are one of a kind and are made with precious, semi-precious and just plain precious components.
