Handmade Store: Driftwood Reclaimed

Driftwood Reclaimed began as a passionate hobby of creating natural beautiful artifacts with driftwood for personal pleasure. Compliments from friends and other nice folk led to sharing my artifacts with others which led to receiving offers for 4 pieces in 1 week and 2 consigned request shortly thereafter.
I beach comb Lake Ontario for driftwood, unusual rocks, bottle glass, and various discarded rustic items.
Many of the vintage and retro items are from my personal collection or from people like my brother-in-law. No loss time for me when I'm hunting at local habitat stores, second hand shops and garage sale finds etc.
Every item is washed and sanded by hand before any stain is applied to the wood.I use Miniwax varathans for most of my items but have recently began to produce my own natural stains. Not only are they environmentally friendly but provide amazing colourr variations and final results that become an artifact.
