The vase is made of Meliosma cuneifolia Franch wood, a kind of tree that is hard in texture and grows in mountains. The natural environment in the mountains is so brutal that we see different kinds of burls on the tree trunks. These burls are scars left by the struggle to resist erosion from the outside world.

We collect the trunks, preserve the burrs and carve them according to their natural shape, so each vase is unique and tells the story of time. A meaningful gift for family, friends, and companionship for yourself.
