This colorful cowrie shell necklace has red, green, yellow and black glass beads braided into the waxed cotton cording. It has small shiny cowrie shells that are mostly the same size. They are about 3/4 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. The total length of this necklace is 23 inches. The braided cowrie section is 8 1/2 inches long. This necklace has an adjustable tie, but cannot be tightened any tighter than 8 1/2 inches. This is a small cowrie shell necklace. It would fit a small adult neck or a child's neck. Please note measurements.

This necklace is very cute and has a fringe inspired adjustable tie. Because it is adjustable it can be worn close to the neck, kind of like a choker or a little further down according to the size of the neck.
