This adorable beanie-style hat is handknit from a doubled weight of my favorite sock yarn, in forest green, and bright heathered aqua. I used an allover cable and ribbing pattern that is very stretchy, and perfect for a boy or a girl. The green portion of the hat is decorated with two stacked buttons, made with green and blue plastic buttons, an antique shell button, and tiny blue plastic heart buttons. Hat measures 7"/18 cm tall, and will stretch to at least 17"/43 cm around.

I used 100% wool yarns to make this hat; wool is soft, warm, strong, natural, and very cuddly; it will also need to be handwashed and airdried, if soiled. Stuff it with a few dishtowels to help it remember that it's a hat, or iron it into shape while still barely damp.

I accept paypal and personal checks, though your order won't ship (and special orders won't be made) until your check clears. Orders ship first class with delivery confirmation. The international shipping rate is a ballpark; if your purchase ships for less, I will refund you the difference, but I will not charge you more than the quoted amount.
