This is a hand painted glass pendant of an Indian jogan (female yogi) playing the dotara (musical instrument). It is a painted version of the lifelike clay dolls made by artisans of Krishnanagar, India. These Ghurni artists create amazingly realistic clay guddas (dolls) of everything from ordinary people, saints, sages, pop stars, animals ... and their creations are now being recognized worldwide for their detail using simple organic materials.
The pendant is painted on top surface as well as sides also have decoration. Bail is also painted. It can also be hung against a window from the bail and displayed as miniature art.
The paint used is glass paint with acrylic paint and sealed with gloss sealer.
It is one of a kind, elegant and can be worn on festive or casual occasions.
