As a very small child, I was drawn to the work of Vincent Van Gogh. I loved the way his piece "Cafe Terrace on the Place du Forum" immediately drew me in by his use of color and technique. Actually, my creativity is inspired by many, many Artists, both famous and aspiring. Unique is the one word I would use to describe my Art. I enjoy using mixed media in several of my pieces such as Vintage jewelry, Mardi Gras Beads, Plaster of Paris, Caulk and just about anything that expresses a certain "feeling" to my pieces. I believe that ART has the power to heal, inspire, provoke, challenge and offer hope and I strive to create these in each piece I do.
