I started sewing when my nana taught me as a child. She was an amazing old school seamstress. From there I started sewing for myself and when my beautiful daughter was born everything she wore was an original handmade outfit. To this day I make all her special occasion clothing - in fact I just finished her wedding gown. I've always sewn and made crafts for friends and family - but when I retired from my job this year I decided to do it full time - and I'm loving every minute of it. And thats where the crafting continued. to
Handmade original clothing. Baby/Toddler hats, bibs, aprons and blankets. Adult bibs for fun . Aprons - good old fashioned full coverage to fun adult type. Memory quilts - made from you old t-shirts. My husband was ill for many years and he was unable to feed himself - I was tired of seeing him in hospital bibs - so I started making unique bibs for him that were more dignified and humurous. Not only did they protect him - they always started up a conversation with people which made him feel so isolated = especially when we were out at a restaurant. Now I sell them everywhere - even to people who don't need them!
