Self-taught, she began designing jewelry two years ago, following a successful career in public accounting.
Inspiration finds her through diversity found while living in New Orleans along with her southern up-bringing delivering designs that are fun, elegant, cool and confidant. Possessing French, Irish and Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry, a gumbo effect seems to be found in her jewelry. Never having been stimulated by fads, her work features lasting designs that rise above trends.
Now her work is focusing more on the personal design for others, which is why she has been engaged to do weddings recently. Full time devotion is given to her designs and her reward comes when seeing someone wearing her jewelry. Debra offers one-of-a-kind designs and limited editions and is very excited about the Launch of her new website queenbdesigns.com which was created by the very talented folks at www.lightningbugdesigns.com.
Leaving the public workforce due to a diagnosis of Ocular Myasthenia Gravis, Debra donates a percentage of her sales to the MG Foundation.
