I started making earrings about 20 years ago - while raising my two kids on a budget. My daughter wanted earrings to match her outfits and so did I - so we proceeded to design and make our own, because I could not afford to buy them in the stores at the time.
I like to make earrings, bracelets and necklaces to match blouses and outfits that I wear every day. I even made the jewelry for my wedding - my necklace and earrings as well as for my daughters that stood up with me.
I retired from the general workforce about 4 years ago and needed to keep busy so I did not make myself nuts after going to work everyday for the last 40 years or so. :-)
I enjoy making pieces that women will wear every day as well as those for a special occasion.
It gives me great pleasure to make pieces for someone who wants that unique, one-of-a-kind statement for a particular outfit or occasion.
