Handmade Store: Hooked on Glass

Hi, my name is Barbara and I have a need to create! I have many hobbies such as pottery, stain glass, lamp work beading, knitting and crochet. My passion is glass. It all started when my husband bought me a Christmas gift class on stain glass from a local stain glass artist. After many projects I discovered lampworking which was just mesmerizing! Melting glass with a torch, forming beads of different colors and mixing of colors was just fascinating to me. So what do you do with these hundreds of beads? You make jewelry! I learned to knit and crochet from my grandmother so thought there must be a way to create a necklace incorporating the two crafts. Found a tutorial on bead crochet and then added my beads. I am a retired nurse so I thought this would be a good time to sell my creativity. Friends and family are my encouragement on this journey. I have sold at craft shows and have done well however, have been looking at other means of selling. I hope you enjoy the i-candy!
