It's that time of year again; days are getting shorter and the air is far crisper. Time to pull on longer-sleeved shirts, a jacket, and of course, a snappy hat.

For children, having a hat on during the Fall and Winter months is particularly important. Little heads get cold fast and a hat can certainly take away the chill. Still, there is no reason why the hat they wear cannot be stylish and fun. Which is why... Read more
It's almost that time again: time for your favorite TV shows to return to resolve their cliffhangers, show fresh new episodes and introduce new storylines. It is also time for the various TV networks to try and hook you on one (or more) of the new shows they been putting together over the last several months. Finally, after a summer of reruns, the Fall TV season is about to begin! New this year... Read more
In the last week there have been two tornados in the Toronto, Canada area, an earthquake in Virginia, USA that was felt from Atlanta to Central Canada, and now a hurricane has pummelled the Caribbean and is making itself felt along the Eastern Seaboard of the United States. As silly as it was, I... Read more

" Baby face, you’ve got the cutest little baby face… " ~ Baby Face by Brenda Lee

Look around. See if you notice the same thing that many of my friends have. Do you see them? Those tiny bundles of joy that seem to be everywhere? According to statistics, more North American babies are born in the summer and early fall – June, July, August, and September – than any other time of... Read more

It’s a good time to go out and enjoy the great outdoors . It is also a great time to relax at home, whether on the couch or on the patio. Or perhaps you have a cottage to visit, somewhere close to a lake, with the sounds of lapping water and children playing happily.

Where ever you chose to relax this summer, it is important to have home decorations that compliment both your style and the... Read more
Aromatic plants bestow
no spicy fragrance while they grow;
but crush'd or trodden to the ground,
diffuse their balmy sweets around.

It is much like a fairy tale; boy and girl meet in high school and then lose touch. Twenty-eight years later they meet again, love blossoms and they get married. Together they start a small craft business. It is fate, kismet, serendipity, which is why Hugh and Elizabeth Henry called their craft business “ Serendipity Crafts .”

Graphic designers by trade, they needed to make some more money to make a... Read more
