I have been a knitter as long as I can remember and took up the art of jewelry making when my young daughter started playing with a bead set some years ago. I decided that while we were sitting side-by-side playing with her beads that I could explore learning how to do it "properly and with quality materials". You will still find us sitting side-by-side creating. I have since specialized a bit more in chainmaille jewelry, a wonderful art form that I decided wasn't for me until I tried it once and now I am addicted to what great puzzles one can create with tiny little rings, two pliers and a bit of patience.

And all through that exploration, I continued to follow my other passion and that's knitting. I do sell some of my knitting but my larger, often intricate projects are for my personal satisfaction and enjoyment.
